The iced coffee from the breakfast bar is a must-have and perfect for a hot day! Plus, being just a hop away from fabulous spots like Brussels Grill and L'Esterel means you're never short of delicious local eats. Not to mention, I woke up to a charming vibe that reminded me of classic Brussels.
While the atmosphere had its charm, the room was a bit worn down and had a lingering smell of cigarettes. The Wi-Fi was only in the lobby—cozy as it was, it took some stairs to avoid the ancient lift. It felt like a quirky adventure, but a proper shower setup would have been a nice upgrade!

What you’ll love and hate
Location is fantastic, just a short walk to major attractions! ! Staff were friendly and accommodating, making the check-in process smooth.
Facilities are outdated and desperately in need of renovation. I encountered issues with cleanliness—definitely not the best experience! !

nice terrace, close metro station, central location
The cleanliness leaves much to be desired!!! Dust everywhere, some furniture broken!!! Only one power plug in the room made charging difficult!!! The lack of air conditioning made the heat unbearable at times!!!

the hotel’s proximity to iconic spots like the Saint Michael and Gudula Cathedral, just a 10-minute walk away, and delicious eateries like L'Esterel right next door made my city strolls so enjoyable and convenient.

The spectacular view was a highlight, paired with a comfortable bed that made for a good night's sleep. While the breakfast options felt limited, the smoked salmon bagels were a delightful surprise. However, the musty smell on the eighth floor was quite off-putting, and the dated decor was evident. The staff were polite, but overall, the hotel seemed to be in need of a refresh to enhance the experience.

The hotel has a central location that makes it easy to explore nearby attractions, with a touch of vintage charm that gives it character. The large bathroom was a plus, and the owner is an impressive figure, still actively involved with operations despite her age. However, the carpets could use a good cleaning.

We enjoyed the spacious room with large bathroom and it was conveniently located a short walk from the train station. The breakfast was surprisingly good, especially considering the price we paid. My two girls loved the classic dining hall vibe while we relaxed.
My wife says that the elevator was quite old and a bit nerve-wracking to use. Cleaning could have been better throughout, especially for families.

Great breakfast and friendly staff, but lift was old and Wi-Fi only in lobby.
